Denim High Levels

These photos are of the recent high levels I've created in our block denim department. I have used our wine colour cobweb jersey top and teamed it with our bleach denim jacket on one of the busts, on the other I have used one of our stripey t's with feather pendant. On the legs I have used denim hot pants matched with grey wool tights and tan and gold floral belt. Hopefully these are three inspiring looks showing interesting ways to wear Topshop denim!

Christmas Window Scheme!

Yes, so it's that time of year again and the Christmas windows are everywhere! This year Topshop has gone for a simple yet effective snow scheme which neatly dresses the window. To compliment this I have have dressed the mannequins in our Snow Queen trend. I have pulled a mixture of outfits together, something to appeal to older and younger consumers, both daytime and evening looks.

The Outsiders - Mannequin Styling

Using the floral peter pan collar shift dress as inspiration, I built looks around the key colours of this garment, including pink, cream, black and navy. I have also tried to use key pieces which represent the 'Outsiders' trend including the woven check trousers, knee high wool socks, tweed buckle front cardigan and tweed shorts (back mannequin). I have tried to create outfits which promote the trends development into a more dressed down, casual look.

Abigail's Party

I have dressed these mannequins in our new 70's inspired trend, entitled 'Abigail's Party'. Prints and embellishments are key to the look as is texture. Taking this into account, I have used the polka dot button down dress, lurex shrug and sparkle print vest creating a mixture of evening and day looks, which are aspirational yet still wearable.

Halloween

In order to promote our Halloween products, last weekend I decided to dress our window mannequins in clothing which would compliment the merchandise. I chose our red pleated one shoulder tunic, appropriate to wear with red devil horns, black velvet leggings and sequin vest - perfect to wear with our cat mask and finally our black bustier flare jumpsuit, which could be worn with our black devil horns. Hopefully I gave some inspiration to those consumers looking to have a fashionable Halloween!
